Roger Barker, Managing Director Roger has a passion for innovative technologies and brings many years experience introducing new solutions to market. His focus has more recently been in imaging, mobile multimedia, semiconductor and embedded electronics. He is also a director and co-founder of Argon Design, a company set up in mid 2009 to provide high-end design services based on multicore systems. Prior to Argon Design, in 2006 Roger set up his own company providing business development and marketing services to start-up companies such as Imsense, Nethra Imaging and Spiral Gateway as well as specific projects for more established companies. Before moving into business services, Roger was European Sales & Business Development manager for Alphamosaic (bought by Broadcom) and European Sales Director for MediaQ (bought by NVIDIA), where he successfully introduced their solutions to leading European OEMs. |

Sami Khawam, Co-Founder, Technical Director Sami has an extensive experience in reconfigurable computing and low-power VLSI design; he was part of the team to successfully deliver the first silicon prototype of RICA. Sami previously worked as a Research Associate at the University of Edinburgh and as a Design Engineer at Spiral Gateway. |

Ioannis Nousias, Co-Founder Ioannis’s expertise is in computing architectures and EDA tools, with a focus on mapping and automation tools for reconfigurable computing. He was part of the team that delivered the first RICA technology demonstrator. He previously worked with the University of Edinburgh and later on at Spiral Gateway tailoring the RICA architecture for imaging applications. |

Mark Muir, Co-Founder Mark is focused on advanced compiler technologies and high-level synthesis. He previously worked with Spiral Gateway to aid in the commercialisation of the RICA technology. |
